Restaurare il cielo è il racconto di un restauro epocale, quello della Basilica della Natività in Betlemme.È la storia di un gruppo di restauratori italiani che dal 2013 lavora al recupero e alla salvaguardia della Basilica della Natività, monumento Patrimonio dell’Umanità.
Una moderna Opera del Duomo che ha restaurato prima il complesso tetto della chiesa, poi tutto l’apparato decorativo, restituendo al suo antico splendore un ciclo di mosaici unico al mondo. Restaurare il cielo segue passo passo quest’opera monumentale, fino a mostrare la ritrovata bellezza della Basilica della Natività.

Restoring the Sky It is the story of an epic restoration, that of Basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem.It is the story of a group of Italian restorers from 2013 works to the restoration and preservation of Basilica of the Nativity Monument World Heritage Site.a modern Opera del Duomo who restored before the complex roof of the church, then all the decorations, returning to its former glory a single cycle of mosaics in the world.
